I World Forum on Local Economic Development
The 1st Forum was a productive and effective collaboration between territorial actors, decentralized cooperation networks and Local Economic Development Agencies. More than 1,300 representatives and delegates from 47 countries attended, representing different actors in local development.
The objective of this forum was to create an active platform dedicated to the study, reflection and exchange of experiences, involving the design of local development strategies around the world. The participants presented their territorial experiences, which analyzed how to contextualize economic development. They identified related practical applications for sustainable human development.
