On December 13, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation hosted a multi-stakeholder conference focused on the preparatory process for the upcoming 4th United Nations International Conference on Financing for Development. The event “Our path to Seville 2025” brought together representatives from various sectors to discuss and collaborate on the challenges and opportunities of financing for sustainable development.

The conference, which will be held in Seville between June 30 and July 3, 2025, is shaping up to be one of the most relevant meetings in recent years to address development financing at a global level. The Andalusian capital will be the setting for this crucial event, which will bring together governments, international organizations and social movements committed to inclusive and equitable development.

This conference has served as a platform for dialogue and coordination between key actors from different fields, in an effort to advance a transformative agenda that not only mobilizes resources, but also fosters a vision of sustainable development.
