Composed of the main institutions that promote and organize the event, the organizing partners oversee the strategic lines of the Forum and its process.
The associates are engaged institutions that actively contribute to the Forum’s process by sharing technical contents and conceptual frameworks, while engaging and stimulating other actors and institutions to participate and contribute to the Forum.
The key function of the scientific advisors is to orient and guide the process towards the celebration of the 4th World Forum of LED. The scientific advisors will encourage discussion, debate and consideration of a wide variety of views and opinions in relation to the LED approach.
Partnerships for this forum are still being developed. The official list of partners will be published soon.
The other partners and sponsors represent all institutions interested in contributing to the Forum’s resources, technical contents or conceptual frameworks. A partner or sponsor can provide resources for the organization of the Forum. It can also be a single organization participating in the event or an organization leading an entire session/panel.
Previous editions of the forum have attracted organizations coming from the six continents, all the while ensuring a territorial, social and gender balance. The forums have provided an open space for dialogue and participation for those actors who want to learn about and contribute to the LED approach. By connecting and including all stakeholders, the forum aims to promote ownership and integrate the three dimensions of development – social, economic and environment.
Once again, a call for participation is extended to all actors who have already engaged in this process over the past three editions of the event, as well as others interested in the topic and who wish to participate in the 2017 Forum.
