Territorial cooperation and partnerships are gaining increasing recognition and momentum as a key modality for combining integrated local governance and decentralized cooperation processes, thus contributing to making the 2030 Agenda a truly universal one and implementing the SDGs at the local level. Additionally, TCP have a potential to facilitate the upscaling of LED practices and processes across territories as means for achieving greater cooperation and cohesion within and between territories, which in turn is a requisite of sustainable territorial competitiveness.
